Sebastiaan Herman, founder of FameLab, started the business in 2019 in response to the struggles that businesses were facing due to the COVID pandemic.

Sebastiaan has a background in software engineering, marketing, sales, and management, and leveraged his expertise to develop the tool that defines FameLab.

We asked Sebastiaan to describe the benefits of FameLab automation for LinkedIn communication and engagement.

Sending out invitations can be a tedious and time-consuming process. Since most of the messages you send along with your invitations are more or less the same anyway, it makes sense to automate this process. The FameLab tool identifies the people on LinkedIn that fits your customer profile and automatically sends them an invitation.

Can you give a personal example of the power of LinkedIn?

I had a professional in my personal LinkedIn network that I had never met in person. He was really active on LinkedIn and his posts always showed up in my feed. One day, he walked into my office. I immediately recognized him and felt a large amount of trust towards him, even though we have never met before. That first meeting felt like talking with a friend.

He has a network of over 10.000 followers, I think that many of these followers have the same feeling towards him as I do. He’s just a regular guy, not anyone famous. It made me realise how easy it can be to go into business with someone you only know via social media. It’s a powerful thing.
